News of Obama

President Barack Obama, soon after his inauguration Tuesday, sought a delay in tribunals for inmates at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to allow a review of the process.
Military prosecutors asked the court to order "a continuance in the proceedings" to May 20, The Washington Post reported. The motion was made in the case of five men charged with masterminding the Sept 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Prosecutors made the same motion in the proceedings against a young Canadian. That case was scheduled to resume Wednesday.
The military tribunal procedure was created by the Bush administration to deal with what official said was an unprecedented situation. But the tribunals have been subjected to long delays and revisions in legal proceedings going up to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The new administration could opt to try the remaining defendants as criminals in U.S. court or in military courts-martial as war criminals.

I think Obama is a good president and his decision is great, because he is trying to lessen prejudice by making all criminals are treated the same in the same courts. I think this plan will work.

smash Day!!!! (Jan 4)

Today is smash day, we played marble and tried to made highest score, and the prize is two free answer on next test.

I think I'm active learner because I learn some of knowledge in this game, like the angle of incidence equal the angle of reflection, and we also played a lot, so thats why I think I'm active learner.

I also think I'm a critical thinker and problem solver because in our group we think lots of idea to make the highest score, and we have lots of discussion, although in the end we didn't win the game, it still very fun.
